Competence Center Processes

The Competence Center Processes addresses innovative organizational models, new technologies as well as modern information systems to support the strategic and operative aspects of Business Process Management (BPM).

Our current research activities (BPTM, III and ACM) aim at providing well-founded answers to recent trends in BPM research. BPTM offers a framework that systematically aligns business processes with fundamental strategic considerations. ACM addresses the problem of unpredictability in BPM and provides a practical solution that provides agility and flexibility during process execution. III focuses on flexible information structures and architectures that monitor business activities in a service-oriented manner. In general, research adresses the management of the entire process life cycle, while emphasizing multiple perspectives.
